Instruction Therapy Flagging for rehab patients with limited mobility

Customized classes to meet your center's needs

Instructor Bio

I am Mykel

I have a background in dance, theater and fitness/kinesiology which allows me to get participants out of their heads and into their bodies!  I engage a sense of play through storytelling and human connection to nourish and sustain participants in a world of personal challenge. Flagging extends physical mobility and inspires creative and physical expression.

  • This wonderfully dynamic class literally moves patients who once sat still or would not participate, to stretch and dance with brightly colored flags and smiles as they feel the rhythms in their souls! It is a fantastic experience to observe as a Director of Recreation and even more fun to join in.
    — Chloe Hodgson (ATR-BC LCAT) - Director of Therapeutic Recreation at The Grand Healthcare & Rehabilitation Queens
  • The residents and staff love Flow and Flair classes!
    — Cathy Branker Diamond (CTRS,CDP) - Director of Therapeutic Recreation at Riverside Rehab Center
